What is Keto?
According to my all time Keto guru, Mark Sisson:
“Keto is a state if metabolic efficiency where you are able to burn stored energy in the form of body fat and ketones, and not be dependent upon regular high-carbohydrate meals to sustain your energy, mood or cognitive focus.”
Simply put, when you are in ketosis you’ve taught your body to burn fat for energy instead of carbs. By feeding your body high fat, medium protein and low carb meals, you will in time be able to get all your energy this way and become, as Mark puts it “a fat-burning beast”.
